QUALIFICATIONS OF D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants
All security personnel undergo three (3) comprehensive background checks, a written aptitude test, drug test, three (3) days of classroom training, and weapons qualification course. All members of security operations detail must qualify with a score of at least 80% in an NRA Certified Course.
Currently, D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants employs approximately 65 Security Operators in Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and Denver with a variety of experience and depth in security operations, Law Enforcement, and/or the Military. In total, including security operators, we have roughly 75 employees.
We are currently licensed throughout the state of Colorado and Utah, including Pueblo, Alamosa, Boulder, Canon City, Colorado Springs, Denver, Durango, Fort Morgan, Golden, Grand Junction, Gunnison, Lamar, Parker, Steamboat Springs, and Trinidad. We are insured through Kincade Insurance with Agent Annie Porteus for general liability insurance, and with Pinnacle for workman’s compensation (please see attached documentation).
Our legal counsel is the Law Firm of Mullens, Piersel, & Reed, PC, located at 1311 N. Greenwood in Pueblo, Colorado. Our CPA is Mark Paolucci, located at 501 N. Main St. in Pueblo, Colorado.
Currently, our safety record is unblemished, and employee safety is our highest priority.

We conduct security assessments of the area prior to and during events, and provide round-the-clock surveillance, effectively mitigating risks, protecting assets, and ensuring the safety of all participants.

Department of Motor Vehicle has bestowed their confidence in D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants to assess guests as they enter and exit the building. Our goal is to stop an external threat, prevent hostile situations, and to be aware of any criminal activity inside and outside the DMV.

Uniforms & Scope of Work
All on-site D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants Security Operator(s) will be dressed in a D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants uniform, which consists of a black D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants polo, tan BDUs, and tan boots. The operator will be previously qualified on and armed with an approved service weapon. The D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants Operator(s) will be required to wear a badge clearly marked with photo identification so as not to be mistaken with staff from any other company. In addition to the identification badge, the operator will have a security badge pinned to their shirt, in addition to the D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants logo on the uniform itself. The operator will hold all required licensing and certificates, as required by the City and County of Pueblo.
The role of the security operator is to prevent unauthorized entry, access control, theft prevention and detection, as well as to comply with all scope of work as Stated in the Company Policy (Security Services pg. 8-9, 8. Scope of Work). The D.C. Private Investigations and Security Consultants Operator(s) will communicate with local law enforcement regarding any illegal activity or medical emergency.
At the closing of each day the operator will escort staff to vehicles as needed and secure the establishment. In addition, operator(s) will be required to meticulously manage an incident log provided by the security company to identify security concerns and patterns of possible threats.
